Hélène Georget Textiles

I came across French textile designer Hélène Georget today and am obsessed with her FW 2014 Patterns Collection. Not only are her patterns gorgeous, but I love the little paper “shirts” that accompany each pattern within her portfolio, so you can visualize what it would look like on an actual piece of clothing. Ugh, SO cute. See more of her textiles after the jump!

Lumityping: Print With Light

Lumi is seriously the coolest company ever. They’re changing the printing/dying world with the Lumityping process, a revolutionary photographic print process for textiles and natural materials. Their amazing new process takes photography out of the darkroom by using sunlight to make durable prints on sustainable materials. Um…excuse me but, fuck yeah! Everything from t-shirts, to canvas prints and even furniture, Inkodye is going to completely change the way we think about screen-printing and dying fabrics. My favorite part is that it saves on the need for electricity  or water, thus making it a sustainable process.

Check out this cool project that’s featured on the Lumi website where they upcycle an old denim jacket. The possibilities are endless!
